Capt. Mark Einstein
Capt. Mark is a USCG Master and has operated private yacht charters since 1984 on the Delaware River, the Chesapeake and Barnegat Bays, the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean. Blue Crab Chesapeake Charters was started in 1994 in Annapolis and moved to Rock Hall in 1998. Please refer to our guestbook for reviews and references from our guests. First Mate, Suzanne Einstein
Partner and First and Only Mate, Suzanne, has sailed the waters of the Delaware River, the Chesapeake Bay, the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean. She will help you with all your scheduling, itinerary and provisioning needs, as well as answer any questions you might have before and during your cruise.

Capt. Dennis Steffy
Capt. Dennis is a retired school teacher and has sailed the Chesapeake Bay for over thirty years. Besides sailing his own boat on the Bay, Capt. Dennis has completed numerous charters aboard the Blue Crab and the Crab Imperial. He also served as chief mate and navigator on our 2005-06 cruise to and from the US and British Virgin Islands and Bermuda.
Capt. Jim Smith
Capt. Jim offers many years of yachting experience ranging from the Delaware River to the South Pacific Islands. As the Captain of the well known classic excursion yacht, The Senator Pepper, he spent years upon the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, the New Jersey Shore and all points north and south.

Capt. Bill Blades
Capt. Bill has sailed the Chesapeake Bay for over 30 years. In addition, he has voyaged on the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, New England and much more. He is an experienced and knowledgeable charter captain as well as an inland and offshore delivery captain.

Mike DeVine
Mike's boating and sailing experiences trace back to high school when he bought his first Cape Dory Typhoon. Since then, he has sailed aboard all of our charter boats as mate and helmsman on the Barnegat Bay, the Chesapeake Bay and throughout the Caribbean Islands.

Capt. Jay Lloyd
Frequently heard broadcasting from Philadelphia, Pa, KYW News Radio's Jay Lloyd often serves as helmsman and mate aboard our day and sunset sailing cruises from Waterman's Crab House. He is an accomplished trans-Atlantic passage maker and a veteran US Coast Guardsman. Bermuda, St. Thomas and St. Croix are among the places he has called his home.

Merrick Thayer
Meck is a lifelong boating enthusiast who has spent many years operating both power and sailing vessels. He is an avid fisherman whose expertise proved invaluable on our 2005 Rock Hall to Bermuda cruise. Meck frequently serves as helmsman and mate aboard the Crab Imperial and is the present captain of Blue Crab.

Accordion John is an avid sailor and musician who provides deck-side entertainment when he is available to cruise with us. He has sailed aboard a variety of sailing yachts as well as his own Ericson 34 kept at Sailing Emporium.
